model in gwt mvp

when using MVP in gwt, the model is usually the DTO. in case the behavior of the model is complex, do you add the behavior methods in the DTO classes or in the presenter, or another group of dedicated model classes?

any best practice guidelines for that?

You should take into consideration that GWT does not support all java libraries. So if you want to use it in the client side it is easier to use a dedicted model. In general, I would recommend to implement additoinal service layer (In the data access layer) for imlplement the logical part.

I am aware of the issues you mentioned. I am strictly talking about logic that must reside on the client.
