VMware View Client

Hi,

I am using VMware View open client (4.5.0 build-297975) from Ubuntu 10.04 to connect windows machine. When I minimize VMware View open client for some time and going back to VMware client after working on Ubuntu desktop, Even though the session is intact, the keyboard is unresponsive. Mouse is working but not keyboard.

Please let me know how to fix this.

Regards,
SR

As this is the Open Client, I would feed this issue back to the Project Team to fix.

Support for the VMware View Open Client is provided only the community that develpoped the client. No commercial support from VMware, Inc. shall be provided.

It seems you have found a bug with the client, I would report it back to the project, so it can be investigated and fixed.

hi

i have been battling this as well, ind the end i ended up making a windows virtual machine and installed vmware sphere on it and use the sphere through "Unity" feature, however there seems to be a solution in WineHQ, using wine to open infrastructure

http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=version&iId=9993

But i do no recommend it, if you are looking for something "stable"

You must keep in mind that there is no official support for linux vmware clients.. (yet)
