I have an query related to Alert Me option which is present in Task list of SharePoint Online i.e BPOS,under Action tab.
I have a Task list on my teamsite and using that task list , i am assigning tasks to my employees. And i have also set up an Email alert using Alert Me option present under action tab over there.
The issue is, i am receving an email alert on my outlook whenever i am assigning a task to my employees, which i don't want . I want to receive an alert only when the task is completed and not while assigning the task.
So,please guide me on this to avoid such issues in future.
