Hello, I have two forms with the field [CallNumber] in them.  When I close frmOne and open frmTwo I want to copy the contents of frmOne.[CallNumber] to frmTwo.[CallNumber].  This isn't a filter because this frmTwo will not have any call number entered in that field.

Can anyone please help me how to do this?

    Accepted Solution

    Use the Openargs parameter to pass the value from form1 to form2.

    docmd.OpenForm "frmTwo",,,,,,me.callnumber

    Then the form currentevent of form2 you use this value

    me.Callnumber = me.openargs
