How do I get Firefox on my wifi android tablet?

Firefox is available through the android market but I can't download much of anything from there because my Android device is not a phone.

Will Firefox for Android run on my Froyo tablet?  If so, how can I get it?

You can download the apk installer file here:
http://www.mediafire.com/?me3myfbdfyz092x

Once downloaded you need to navigate to the file with a program like astro and then run the installer.

You need to allow third party apps to be installed too:
Menu>settings>applications  then check unknown sources.

just click install in the browser on your desktop/laptop and the app will be installed on the tablet ... if you have configured your tablet with your google account and sign into market with this account

enachemc, I have configured my tablet with a google account.  That gets me absolutely nowhere in the android market.  I do not have an android PHONE associated with my google account and the market blocks all my attempted downloads for that reason.
