when I go to https://rdfarm.domain.local/rdweb in Internet Explorer I get the following error.
Server Error in '/RDWeb/Pages' Application.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Runtime Error
Description: An application error occurred on the server. The current custom error settings for this application prevent the details of the application error from being viewed remotely (for security reasons). It could, however, be viewed by browsers running on the local server machine.

Details: To enable the details of this specific error message to be viewable on remote machines, please create a <customErrors> tag within a "web.config" configuration file located in the root directory of the current web application. This <customErrors> tag should then have its "mode" attribute set to "Off".

<!-- Web.Config Configuration File -->

<configuration>
    <system.web>
        <customErrors mode="Off"/>
    </system.web>
</configuration>

Notes: The current error page you are seeing can be replaced by a custom error page by modifying the "defaultRedirect" attribute of the application's <customErrors> configuration tag to point to a custom error page URL.

<!-- Web.Config Configuration File -->

<configuration>
    <system.web>
        <customErrors mode="RemoteOnly" defaultRedirect="mycustompage.htm"/>
    </system.web>
</configuration>

I get no error if I go via server name https://server.domain.local/rdweb

How can I fix this problem?

It looks like a certificate error. Do you have a certificate issues for rdfarm.domain.local?

That is a self made certificate from our domain controller.
The trick is even though in Remote App Manager I put use that one.  When you go the webpage it is using the other???

When the client computer connects straight to the server, it uses the server name https://server.domain.local and sees certificate installed on the server and issued to server.domain.local
.
When the client connects to https://rdfarm.domain.local, it sees the certificate issued to server.domain.local and errors out.

Issue a certificate to rdfarm.domain.local and install it on your WEB/RD Web Access/NLB server/s.

I checked and on my RemoteApp Manager I have the Digital Signature Settings as rdfarm.domain.local
Though you are correct, when I go to any of the farm servers it has server domain local.
Do you have any thoughts on where to look or update than Remote App Manager?
Thanks
Ray

MS says this:
Problem
========
Remote Desktop Farm Certificate problem.

Cause
======
IIS console setting.

Solution
=====================
1. Log on to SC43 and open the IIS Manager console.
2. Explore to the rdweb site. Right click the site name and select Edit Bindings from the menu.
3. Highlight the HTTPS entry, then click Edit button to verify the current SSL certificate.
4. Ensure the rdfarm.sc.local certificate is selected. We could click View button to check the certificate.
