Hello,

Coke was spilled on Laptop Keyboard, but it was turned off and left to dry.  After 1 day, keys did not work correctly, but laptop was working okay.  I ordered a keyboard from ebay and replaced it, but it is still acting weird.  i.e
Some keys do not work.
Pressing some keys causes beeps.

What else could have been damage?

The connection panel underneath the keyboard can also be damaged. On some laptops you can disconnect the flat-cable going to the motherboard, on others you can't. But thats probably it.

HP DV2000.  The keyboard from ebay looked really dirty as it hair/other stuff in it.

Aw, well.. what was the problem after it had dryed? No keys working at all, or just some?

Are you even sure that the keyboard you ordered are working? I assume that you don't have another laptop to test it on?
