I'm not sure if it blue screened but I assume so since I have a minidump. Can you tell me how I can open the minidump and what to look for? I tried to debug diagnostic tool (analysis only) but I think it has problems every time I use it. Attached is what it tells me.

Download bluescreenview and it will parse the minidump to make it easier to understand.

The main thing you are looking for is the "bug check string", "bug check code", and "caused by driver".

Under Bug Check String, it says: "KERNAL_MODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED".

Then the lower window has 4 things in red, as follows:

fltMgr.sys
NAVEX15.SYS
ntoskrnl.exe
SRTSP.SYS

Very common BSOD. If it has only happened once then you shouldn't worry too much. BSOD's do happen even to newer computers or techies like myself haha.

http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ff559271%28v=vs.85%29.aspx

Just for some reference info:
fltMgr.sys - a Microsoft File Filter Manager built in to windows
NAVEX15.sys - something to do with Norton AntiVirus (I assume that's the AV you use)
ntoskrnl.exe - Windows Kernel (probably the main cause of the crash but this happens from time to time)
SRTSP.sys - Symantec Real time protection (again Norton AV; check for Norton updates)

If he replaced the Mobo then the BIOS got reset which could have caused some sort of issue but like I said if it has only happened once it's nothing to write home about. BSOD's happen. Most the time they can be fixed with driver updates and such but sometimes it is faulty hardware which always stinks but it happens. Anyways, hope it doesn't happen again but if it does use the bluescreenview to see what the main cause was and just google the driver if you don't know it.
