Is there any way of installing more than 1 program at the same time on Microsoft operating systems?

Is there any way of installing more than 1 program at the same time on Microsoft operating systems?

Will Microsoft Windows ever allow more than 1 installation to occur at the same time?

Currrently with all Microsoft operating systems, I have been unable to do more than one true installtion at the same time.

The only time that I have been able to install multiple programs at the same time has been when these programs have been simple programs that don't fully invoke Windows installer the way that the more complicated installation progrmms to.

Will Microsoft Windows ever allow more than 1 installation to occur at the same time in a future reease of Windows?

The answer is NO. The reason behind is that most installations will have to add some entries to the registry and the registry will be locked for change from another installer. If the system allows it, the registry may be corrupted.

Will Microsoft Windows ever allow more than 1 installation to occur at the same time? Windows 8 stills make use of the registry but Microsoft starts to make use of the applciation store concept like those used by iOS. But, such measures will not change the limit of one installation at the same time.

However, in the future, there might be more software publisher makes use of the application virtualization concept that the application needs not to be installed before it can be run.

The answer is yes if they are not the same installer.

You could run a Microsoft Installer File and an installshield or install wise .exe at the same time usually
