option to consider warnings as error

alerting try catch blocks that do nothing after catching exception

max length/lines of code of a method

disposing global objects

disposing desktop app forms instead of closing

It is hard to list here everything that can be considered. E.g., you may look for e.f. FxCop rules etc.
