Why am I having problems with many websites after installing Internet Explorer 9?

There are a lot of website that I am having problems with after installing IE9. I can not log into Netflix and Facebook. Also having issues with Careerbuilder.com and Dice.com. When I use Chrome or Safari, everything works fine. Right after I upgraded to IE9 Netflix was already logged in. A lot of features, like highlighting to add a movie to your queue would not work. I was in the process of building a new computer and when I was done I could not log in to these sites at all. I have tried the compatability setting, but that does not do anything for it. I have not tried every site that I go to yet but, there seems to be an issue with either IE9 or the sites need to be upgraded. I was wondering if anybody else is having issues with IE9 after upgrading or new installs. Also if anybody knows of a fix.

Yes, there seems to be an issue with either IE9 or those websites, which may need to be upgraded in the near future. In the meantime, I would suggest that you uninstall IE9 and here is a simple way to do it from the command line:

FORFILES /P %WINDIR%\servicing\Packages /M Microsoft-Windows-InternetExplorer-*9.*.mum /c "cmd /c echo Uninstalling package @fname && start /w pkgmgr /up:@fname /norestart"
IE9 is a disaster, for a start make sure you're running the 32-bit version.

Otherwise check out this microsoft kb article. Ultimately though I would also recommend downgrading for now.

Thanks ConUladh for the link. I ran IE9 with addons disabled and the sites worked fine. Now I need to figure out what addon or addons is causing these issues with the websites. Thanks again
