Connect Cisco Cat 4506 to 3750 via fiber

I have a Catalyst 4506 SupIV that I am connecting to a 3750 via fiber.

The 3750 uses the LX SFP.  The 4506 uses the regular SFP.  I have a mm fiber cable connecting the two.

I do not get link.

I have tried 'no shut' and setting the speed statically; however, nothing is helping.

LX should connect to an SX.  Have you tried crossing the fibers to make sure that tx on one side is going to rx on the other and vise versa?

can you post the config for those ports and a show interface as well.

By regular, are you refering to a SX sfp? If so, this won't work because the SX uses LED diodes to transmit light and the LX uses lasers. Both can transmit over MM fiber.

If you have verified that the SFPs are the same type, you can try flipping the Tx/Rx ends. You will most likely have to remove the plastic clip that holds them together.

I replaced the lx sfp and everything started working. Bad hardware. I'll award the points anyway cause I hate it when people screw me out of points.
