hi I am having issues while deploying one of the images using PXE/Task Sequence Media. Initally goes fine, after first reboot, installs boot image and during Operating System installation gives an error message (attached). Rest of the images are deployed with success.

For info, this image is for Lenovo T410 laptop on Windows 7 platform.

When this happens press SHIFT+F10 to open a command prompt.

Run IPCONFIG do you have a valid IP?

Can you ping the Distribution Point?

If you use NET USE H: \\servername\share where servername\share is the DP server and \share is the share name does it map a drive?

@ demazter:

Will try and get back. This error came on primary site and I cannot test right away as location is far away. I tried on a BDP location the same OSD image, it poped up a different error. Please have a look.

Let me tell you for specific model Lenovo T410, I have tried deploying other images also but same error.

Finally resolved. I disabled the data image step in Task sequence and it worked.

I don't find any problems disabling the image data step. The captured image is deploying perfectly.
