Remote Virus Scanner

Hi-
I have seen some post about this subject here, but none that covered the criterias I have.

To cut to the bone....
Is there a way that a computer located outside my network can be scanned for viruses by me, with AV software that is on my computer..
I am aware that there are scanners that can do that online- symantec has a diagnosis tool, that will find the viruses, but not remove them- but the deal is that the scanned computer can't go to these websites.
My question is- are you aware of any AV vendors that offers that option in their software packages, or is there a way to do it with traditional software( I doubt that though), even set up a server with AV software, and let the target computer log on to it....

Have a good day

I've never tried this but I use the eset online scanner regularly.. in its help it says this

Can I select the destination of the scan?
Yes, the new version of ESET Online Scanner provides an option, where you can set the destination of the scan. The option can be found under Additional Settings.

I would say you might need a mapped drive to the other machine, and then it wont scan memory/running processes.. but it may be a start for you

Failing that all the other ones I know require an "agent" service to be installed

An agent solution might be good.... if it will be easy to install.
What agent solutions are you aware of?

There are several online virus scanners but you have to log on to them from the computer that is to be scanned.  TrendMicro has 'Housecall' http://housecall.trendmicro.com/ that will fix what it finds.  I have links to some others but they don't say that they fix anything.
