copy owned dvd for streaming purposes only
I have just purchased a nas drive which is dlna certified, i would like too backup the dvd to the nas drive, however, not for anyone else soley for the purpose of streaming it to for example my ps3, my tv or my wifi blueray/dvd player whichis in an alternate room.
I have licenced software to create divx or .vob but that means the dvd menus are lost so is it possible to create a copy that has the dvd menu structure and stream that?
I would point out again this is not a piracy question as dvds are cheap from amazon so i prefer to buy them but as the house now has all dlna connected equipment it seems prudent to stream as opposed to the old fashioned way of getting the disc from its box.
regards
