Use Libre Office. Free and works as good as word. you can save as word documents.

hi Osloiite,

You can't download Microsoft Office in free ( in legal way). There is no free desktop version of Microsoft Office available in any website. Only you can down load trial version of Microsoft Office. If you go for Web version of microsoft office , you can use your hotmail, there webversion of Microsoft Office is available (but not desktop version)

Thanks
Have a Great Day.

If it were available as a free download, why then would anyone buy it? I hope you're not asking us to provide you with links to illegal downloads?!?!

Office, so far as I know, has never been free. I think Osloiite was asking for a trial download in the first post, and that is still available according to the link I left above. ... Thinkpads_User

Well, Osloiite states in the question that s/he already has the free trial and it has expired.

Yes.  But I am not sure what it means "In the past ...". It could mean at another time, or it could mean just that the 60days has expired. If the download is current, and has expired, then it does now need to be paid for.
