I have a pc with the following configuration.

Biostar A880GU3 mobo
AMD Phenom II X4 955 cpu
Radeon HD4250 on board graphics engine
4GB memory
Win XP Home

I keep getting a blue screen with the following error message. "The following driver is stuck in an infinite loop."  file causing the error ATI2DVAG
stop: 0x000000EA(0X8A6177A0, 0X8A116F60, 0XBA4F3CBC, 0X0000001}
Is there a way to make it stop?? I uninstalled the drivers and set the bios defaults all to optimal setting. I reinstalled the drivers from the motherboard disc and still no deal. Error still comes up.

    try update the driver. this could be a bug in the driver itself.
    If it doesn't work, it could be an hardware fault.

    I tried it, that didn't work. What I did do to solve the problem was to install ATI Catalyst version 10.4 drivers. This solved the problem. apparently there is a conflict between the latest catalyst drivers , ver. 11, and XP
