Entourage Web Services will not connect to Exchange Server 2007 after service pack 2 upgrade

After installing SP2 on our Exchange Server 2007, our Macs running Entourage Web Services Edition and Outlook for Mac 2011 are unable to connect.   Oulook on the PC's are fine....as are phones, iPads, mobile devices via active sync..  Entourage for Mac 2004 without Web Services is working fine.
Outlook Web Access is also working fine.
We are not using certificates/SSL.
Exchange 2007 is 64 bit running on a Server 2008 machine.

I see. It is preferable to use SSL with Exchange.  I also had that similar experience where Entourage clients would show the error but still connect.  It was something they just had to deal with unfortunately.  I think buying an actual SSL from a CA might clear that up.

Hope this helps.

How are the accounts configured in Entourage?  Do you just specify server name or http://servername/exchange/user@domain.com?

Is there a specific error message or is it just not showing the user folders?

Thanks so much for your answer.  I am using both forms, however, I have just figured out it connects if I tell it to use SSL and then click through the ensuing error message.

After upgrading Exchange 2007 to Service Pack 2 all Mac mail clients (both entourage and outlook 2008) would not connect to the exchange server unless "use SSL" or https:// was chosen to connect.  You then had to click continure through the error message that a secure connection could not be established.
Will install a certificate server.
