SQL 2008 lost SA password
Is there a simple way to recover the sa password? The database uses both windows and sql server authentication, can get into the system but am trying to get back sys admin permissions.

Reset SA password. from SSMS, or computer management (Users & Groups)

the bulletin\admin group seems to only have public access and unable to reset the password. Is there perhaps another way?
if you are in a network (domain) All domain administrators will have full sysadmin, ask any network admin to add back your BUILTIN\Administrators to sysadmin or just directly reset you SA

no, i am a domain admin, i see bulletin/Administrator but they have only public access not sa.
