How to capture customer info?

When customers use my application, they register their contactinfo (like address and such).
Currently this is done in an online MySQL database.
In my application they see a form with their data and then they press the upload-button.

As the version of the MySQL databaseserver is changing, I would need to upgrade the libmysql.dll regularly. To overcome this, I would like my application to fill in a webform, so registration is independend of any dll on the customer system.

What needs to happen is the following:
1. customer presses registration button (in delphi application).
2. customer information is uploaded.
3. Fields are added/updated into a online database.

The online database doesn't have to be a actual database, as long as it can function as:
adding/updating customerinfo by customers
retrieving customerinfo by applicationdeveloper (me, myself and I)

Does anybody have a good solution for this?

- install a webserver on your MySql server
- create a webservice application to write your customer info to the database (running on the server)
- call webservice from your clients, passing over customer info
