Hi There,

on a sharepoint document library i would like to change the display of how sharepoint navigates through a document  library for example, changing the display of the standards library items count to page numbers? (screenshots below).

Default (see below)  SharePoint Default
To the following: (see below) Page Numbers
my only first instinct would be to create a SharePoint Feature to enable this?

Please Advise what would be the best Approach to achieve this??.

What you see here is a standard SharePoint view settings.

You can try to build a Feature that creates the view , claculate the total number of Items , then create the pages indicator as (Total Items/ Pages per page).

Best of luck.
