Windows 7 Oracle 10g ODBC drivers

Hello experts, just need help to a easy question.

We are using a standard Oracle 10g database in Windows 2003 environment.  We are currently in the process of upgrading our workstations to Windows 7 professional.

Can anybody give me the URL link where to download latest stable Windows 7 driver for Oracle 10g?

Also since you guys will have more experience, any tips, tricks I need to know during installation?  If its just a simple install then it would also be nice to know.

Thanks for your help.

From what it looks like Oracle pretty much stopped porting to specific Windows versions and now just has a single version.

64 Bit might make a difference.  It depends on the bit version of the apps using the Oracle client.

64Bit apps, need a 64Bit client and visa versa.

The Instant Client 64 Bit is here:

It looks like anything above the client 10.2.0.5 is certified on Windows 7.

If all you need is ODBC, I suggest the Instant Client:

You need two parts:  The Basic then the extra ODBC piece.  Pick the version you wish.

If you prefer the full client, all Oracle downloads can be found at:

Thanks for the answer,

Is there a difference between the versions?  There is not much description to distinguish them.   Also I am using a Windows 7 64 bit will this work?

Thanks,
