Hi all
I've been trying to get DFS/FRS working and am having issues.  I have one shared drive setup perfectly that replicates between the two domain controllers (2003 R1 and 2008 R1). But after trying to add another folder under the same namespace, i keep running into issues.  Event id 13508 keep happening without event id 13509.  I also had to change the size of the staging space.  Every time i try to replicate the second folder it seems to move the folder's contents into the staging folder instead of copying it (is this normal?).  Any help would be appreciated.

There were significant improvements made in 2003 R3 to DFS. So significant in fact that I would not consider using 2003 R1 as a replication host.

    2003 R1 only has FRS
2003 R2 and above have DFSR
