Moving an Exchange 2007 database to another organization

We are running Exch 2010 SP1 on Windows 2008 R2 Ent.  We are inheriting a group of users from another organization and want to move their Exch 2007 database into our Exchange environment.  Is this possible and if so, how do go about doing this?

Thanks,

Are you going to be keeping everything separate or is their company becoming yours? You could setup a VPN, forest level trust, and move the mailboxes. Or a forest trust and keep them there.

Because of financial issues, we will be absorbing their orgainization.  We will keep their website and change the necessary DNS and MX records to point to us.  We will be creating user accounts in our AD and they will all get our domain name as their primary email address, but we will want them to keep their old email domain name as an alias for continuity purposes.  One idea that came up was for each of the 40+ users to save all their email in a PST file and bring it with them and extract the PST file in their new Exchange mailbox, but that puts the onus on them to get all the data moved and I am not sure that is a good idea.  I was wondering if there was a way to move the database from their org to ours...

Thanks, Thorin0.  We have access to their IT admin guy, so i guess he will be busy extracting mailboxes to PST files before they move...
