Import Excel with date to sharepoint Calender

Hi, all.

I’m trying to import an excel spreadsheet with the dates and items to a SharePoint calendar, but I can’t get it to work.  I’ve added the spreadsheet as an Access database list item in one of my document libraries.  What am I doing wrong?

why not you create a list using that spreadsheet and create a calendar view for that.
How are you trying to get it work and what is your problem?.

Hi beesoo00,

Here is a link on how to import your CSV file into a SharePoint Calendar.  Hope this helps.
https://www.nothingbutsharepoint.com/sites/eusp/Pages/endusersharepointcom-how-do-i-import-my-calendar-into-sharepoint.aspx

or try

1 Open the Microsoft SharePoint 2007 application on your computer and then click on the "Create" option from the main page.
2 Click on the "Import Spreadsheet" option below the "Custom Lists" section. The New page appears on the screen.
3 Enter a name for the imported CSV file into the "Name" field and then enter a description for the file into the "Description" field.
4 Click on the "Browse" button from the "File location" field and locate the CSV file on your computer. Click on the file and then click on the "Import" button.
5 Select the "Table Range" option from the "Range Type" drop-down menu on the dialog box that appears. Select the range from the CSV file that you want to use from the "Select Range" drop-down menu.
6 Click on the "Import" button and the CSV file data is imported to your SharePoint 2007 calendar.
