In sql server maangement studio 2008 and 2005, how do I sort alphabetize "registered servers" list of my servers?

In SSMS, in the window REGISTERED SERVERS, Database Engine, Local Server Groups, I have a list of my registered servers but they are not alphabetized and I was wondering if anyone knew how to do this?

SSMS Object explorer lists only connected server. And it is sorted on order which the connections were made. And there is no way you can sort them alphabetically. But you can disconnect and connect servers as you want. There is no need to have them all in the SSMS OE all the time.

In the Registered Servers view, mine auto sorts by the registered server name.  If they are all just instances of the same server, maybe that is the issue -- try naming them functionally OR using something like '1 SERVERNAME', '2 SERVERNAME\INSTANCE2', etc.
