Hardware failed of my exchange 2010 server.

Dear All,

I have a total hardware failed of my exchange 2010 server and i don't have a backup at all. I bring a new server and I would I need to install a new exchange and then polling all the mailboxes settings to the new server until I receive the part of the old server and solve the hardware problem. I need to make the users start sending and receiving email immediately.

Please help me doing that, I think the dial ton recovery work in my situation.

What todo?? Install windows 2008, install exhcnage 2007. Get your nose on the grind stone and create the new mailboxes (Hope you have a seperate dc), copy all the ost files on the local harddisk to a seperate directory, direct all outlook clients to the new server and extract all OST files with a OST extraction tool and make it to PST and let the users open this PST to populate the new exchange server with the emails from the users.

And the make backups!!! every day!

I dont know what dmeeren is on about exchange 2007 for but IF YOU CANT repair the old hardware quickly then build a new server and give it the same IP and name. Join the domain and then on the exchange CD run setup.com /recoverserver

This will rebuild your exchange server from info held in active directory for you.

you can build a new Exchange server with Setup.com  /recoverserver it will bring mailboxs and all configuration of the old server ,
after if you can get access to the edb files in the failed server , you can mount it on the new one and exports mailboxs into pst .and re import them in the new mailboxs .

Yes ,just rebuild the server with the same machine name  ,ip etc , and use the exchange installation media , browse to the dvd in cmd and tape setup.com /recoverserver  , the installation wizard wil start in graphic mode with option to recover the installation from configuration stored in active directory .

Exactly as I said about 4/5 posts up yes.
New build server, same IP, same NAME, Join Domain, run SETUP.COM /recoverserver.
