Monitor Sonicwall?

Hi Experts,

I have a sonicwall NSA 2400, there are multiple admins at my work place. I'd like to monitor this sonicwall that can send out email to tell us who login the sonicwall. is there any way to do this?

Thanks.

When someone logs onto the sonicwall, a log entry is created. If you are running viewpoint, this information can be archived. If you don't, then you can have the logs emailed at specific times. Then, review them if you need to. You can do this under Log > Automation. As for an alert when someone logs onto the sonicwall, I don't be that's possible natively. You might need the GMS product for that.

Somehow we don't like viewpoint and we're looking for alternative solutions like third party apps that can keep track who login and doing what.

Thanks.

I've heard of the product below but never used it. In the end monitoring software relies on syslog data and viewpoint being a sonicwall product knows how to summarize sonicwall syslog data. Anyway, you've got my best effort.
