I am looking for clarification, not an answer to a homework problem.

Can you explain a little about the parts given below?

If you want me to be specific, I'm looking at a-ii -- "the number of leaf-level blocks needed if blocks are approximately 69 percent full"

    Accepted Solution

So assume the blocks are 69% full. Since 69% of each 512 block is not an integer, round up to the nearest integer and use that.
Leaf level are of course the blocks at the bottom of the tree, so how many do you need?
