Please have a read of my article and check that you are not low on disk space and that "Back Pressure" has not kicked in:

Disk space is enough and no back pressure

Alan HardistyCommented:
What is 'enough'?

Did you check the Event ID's to determine that Back Pressure is not present?

Have you checked that your IP Address your MX record is pointing to is the same IP Address your server / router is expecting?

Check on www.whatismyip.com and www.mxtoolbox.com

Is port 25 open and forwarded on your firewall / router.

Did the domain expire and thus needs renewing?

Please explain your setup

1. Do you have relay server or Edge Server for sending and receiving  external mails
2. Are you able to receive Internal Mails
3. Is your HUB server running in the same server as the Mailbox server, if it is running a separate Box then check if you have sufficient space and back-pressure is not kicked on the HUB server.

When you send a internal mail and if the internal mail is not able to deliver it would be in the Message queue with some error message. Post the error message.

You can also give a shot by restarting the Exchange server or the Transport service.

Error: I could not see your service on 78.93.xxx.xxx on port (25)
Reason: Connection timed out

Alan HardistyCommented:
Sounds like your Firewall is the problem - please check and make sure that the port is open and forwarded correctly.

should i call my ISP as every thing was working fine till this morning

Alan HardistyCommented:
It won't hurt to call them.  Also - if they manage your firewall, then definitely.

If you are able send/receive internal mails and only not able to receive mails from external world, then check if everything is fine in the Edge server.
1. Check the services.
2. Check if you are able to telnet to port 25 to your Edge server from External world.
