Hello Henkzet,

Can you download SMTPDIAG and post the result ?
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyID=bc1881c7-925d-4a29-bd42-71e8563c80a9

Please use the following command line :
smtpdiag sender@domain.com recipient@domain.com /v

Best Regards,

from the exchange management console , go to Tools , and the open Queue viewer, you should find the emails stuck there , and you should see an error there, what does it say ?
also check event viewer , any errors there ?
let me know.

Hi Henkzet-  Have you confirmed that your server can communicate externally over port 25?  If not, I suggest that you attempt to telnet to a remote mail server to confirm there are no issues beyond the server.  Additionally, if the telnet tests fails using DNS try by IP.  This will enable you to rule on DNS as another potential problem.

Regards,
Pat (ahsservices)

thats not the error, on the qeue viewer console, once you open it you will find a tab called "Queues"
under this tab is a list of all queues currently open , when you click any one of them , go to the far right with the scroll bar you will find a coloumn named "Last error"

The smtpdiag and the error on the queu-view gave an dns problem.

451. 4.4.0 dns query failed

i have the default dns server running.... maybe i have to use an external dns server ?

Your internal DNS server should be pointing to external DNS using forwarding for all name resolution.  Have you tried the telnet test to port 25 of an externa email server?
