ActiveX button in excel spreadsheet

I added an "easy button" of sorts to a spreadsheet to help a friend out. Basically it's a ActiveX control button that runs whatever script is in there.

The "problem" is that whenever he opens up the document on his computer and hits the button the first time he has to hit the option button that pops up and allow the script to be run.

What I am wondering is how can we make it so that he doesn't have to do that? Can I make the document trusted or something like that?

Thank you.

    Assisted Solution

You could set macro security to super low (not recommended) the other option is to digitally sign your macro and add the certificate to the certificate store on his computer.

    Sorry, this link is better:

You'll have to use the same computer for any updates to the macro or else you'll have to make a new certificate.
