replication from sql server to oracle problem

Hi,
Until now I am running replication(Transactional) from sql server to oracle and is working well. Sql server I am having is sql server 2005 on windows 2003 server and oracle 11g.

Now we upgraded to win server 2008 R2 and sql server 2008 R2. Replication is not running.
I started creating publication and subscription through wizard. Its creating the snapshot and when running the agents, Keep on showing Starting agent and after a while showing the status of agent is "Never started" and the job is keep on running.

What could be the problem.

You need to start Snapshot Agent first..
Seems like you haven't initialized your Snapshot agent.
Reinitialize the Snapshot using either "Use the Current snapshot" or "Use a new snapshot" or "Initialize from Backup"

Hi,
Thanks for the reply. I did try all the ways but no luck. Snapshot files are created in the snapshot folder. But distributor cannot see those files.

What about your distributor agent?
Seems like Distributor agent is not running which is responsible for moving your snapshot file to distributor..

Hi

Sorry for the late reply. How can I check whether distributor agent is running or not?

Hope you know Replication Monitor in SSMS.
Under that, you can find Distributor Agent for your Publisher.
Just start that so that your snapshot is replicated to distributor.
