When a contact is deactivated it still appears in the account's contact list. With custom views I am able to modify which records are shown. How do I do this with the account's contact list?

    Hi doughorning,

It is controlled by Contact Associated View which is a system view and CRM does not allow you to change it.
If you are comfortable developing plugins, you can develop a plugin for the same. It will require some R&D to hook to the right event [mostly execute message on contact]and might affect performance a little.
