Report repeating field

I have a report in Microsoft Reporting Services.  I have to columns in a Matrix, Project and Sub Project.  And a period with data for each one.  A project can havce many Sub Projects.  I would like the Project column to display its value for every line for every Sub Project.  I didn't know how to do this.

I can't quite picture how you would like that to look, so it makes it difficult to suggest something...

What does that project and sub project mean? Report and sub report?

I attached an Image to make things more clear.  What I need is for the "Name" column to display on every line below where it is.  You can see all of the white space there is.

Are you saying that you want something like this?

Name                  |      Position                         |        Project
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
John Allen           |      Mechanical Engineer      |        Design new robot arm
                           |                                            |        Test robot targeting accuracy
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Jeff Gregory        |      Mechanical Engineer      |        Determine MTBF point for actuator motor

I would like the name John Allen in the above example to also appear on the line below where it is as well.

srikanthreddyn143Commented:
And for the position do you need to have that repeated as well?

Can you show us how you have organized the matrix?  Are you using grouping?

srikanthreddyn143Commented:
@Melli111,

You can just use the table and write a sql query that returns the data as TheLearnedone mentioned.

Is there a specific reason you are using matrix?

I have included a screenshot of how the Matrix is set up.  Yes, the Employee_Name, Skill and DO fields are all Groups

Bob LearnedCommented:
Groups will keep the values from repeating, so it sounds like you don't need the matrix with grouping, but just a standard table matrix, with a single row.

The issue is that I need the Period field to span across the top and give me the values for the Hours field.  I do not think that can be accomplished using a table

Bob LearnedCommented:
How are your groups configured?

melli111SharePoint Administrator / DeveloperAuthor Commented:
The three group are what the field names say they are.  Employee_Name, Skill and DO are the names of the groups.

melli111SharePoint Administrator / DeveloperAuthor Commented:
Each group is grouped by its heading.  Employee_Name is grouped by Employee_Name, Skill is grouped by SKill, DO is grouped by DO

Bob LearnedCommented:
Can you show me in the .rdlc/.rdl file, where the groups are defined, please?

melli111SharePoint Administrator / DeveloperAuthor Commented:
See the attached screenshot I posted above.  The groups are defined as the element which they say in the above screenshot.  Employee_Name cell is grouped by Employee_Name, etc. etc.
