SharePoint 2010 - Views not directly accessible

Hello,

In WSS 3.0 the Views where accessible through a drop-down menu right above the webparts. In SharePoint 2010 they are kind of hidden behind the 'List' tab and on top each time you switch to another view you are not able to see anymore in which view you are because the ribbon switches back to the 'Browse' tab.

Any good ideas what I can do about it?

Thank you

For example a nice solution would be if I can add or build a webpart which I can add to my sites which then enables the user to switch between the diffrent views. I looked through the web parts SharePoint 2010 Enterprise comes with but i seems like there is none available

The views are aspx pages
simply create a content editor webpart , with  [names of your views ] and links to each view
that would show on the left navigation pane , this way it will show all the time , no need to write code  , keep it simple , so you can migrate to 2013 when the time come :)

GeorgeGergues,

The idea is good. I will do that and then all I have to do add the webpart where needed but what do you mean with " that would show on the left navigation pane". Can you add this web part into a left menu somehow or am I missunderstanding you?

Thank you

If you can add the webpart  Left Pane (navigation ) it will look like part of sharepoint navigation
