Droid X connects only to some Exchange accounts

I just got two identical Droid X from Verizon. One of them has been set up for our new employee. Everything went smoothly. I connected the device to our Exchange 2010 environment with no issues.

Then, I started programming mine and ran into an issue. Account gets added to CORPORATE ACCOUNT fine, but when I check mail, it shows an orange sign with "Connection Error"
HOWEVER, I have tried another newly created mailbox and attached it to MY phone with no issues. Therefore, I believe that the issue isn't with the phone itself but with the fact that mailboxes that have been created recently work fine, but those that got transfered from Exchange 2000 --> 2007 and eventually to our 2010 Exchange have some setting or permission restriction that does not allow for a device like Droid to connect.

We have been Blackberry environment for a long time and are just moving away from BBs and BB Enterprise Express server. Not sure if this has anything to do with it.

Any input is appreciated

    Accepted Solution

ok, after a couple hours of research, I have found the solution.
Had to go to our Domain controller --> AC users and Computers --> User Properties --> Security --> Advanced and check INCLUDE INHERITABLE PERMISSIONS box for the account that had issues connecting.
