Outlook Anywhere not behaving correctly

We have changed our internal Exchaneg system and moved to a hosted server, whereas before we were connecting using cached exchange mode over a VPN we now connect using cached mode and Outlook anywhere.
The mailboxes connect up and users can send and recieve mail, however they dont get any email for say 45 minutes then get a batch of email arrive at the same time, this is the same when they are sending emails.
Please help!

OK, so Ive fixed this, the problem was basically bandwidth, too many users trying to download too many emails at the same time, the hosting company have upped the bandwidth and now its all working correctly.

Thanks,

Hi, that's made no difference, all the users are complaining of this symptom.

It's almost like outlook is no longer pushing the emails, a send and receive generally gets the latest emails but its really not working right

Sounds like a connectivity issue with the hosted server.

Press the Ctrl button and Right click on outlook icon in the taskbar , and select connection status. Press the reconnect button and see the mails are downloading immediately.

Also you can troubleshoot it using Test email autoconfiguation and see which are the services failing
