&nbsp; &nbsp;i have a mirroring Database, i am trying to implement an witness server.<br />

I get the following error.<br />
The ALTER DATABASE command could not be sent to the remote server instance.<br />
Verify the server is connected, and try again (Mircrosoft SQL Server, ERROR:1456)<br />

I have checked the Witness server is online and can ping it from the current server.<br />
