upgrade Exchange 2010 RTM to Exchange 2010 SP1

Dear All,

I have Exchange 2010 installed in my environment, now I bring a new server and I would like to install exchange 2010 SP1 on it.

Do I have extended the Active Directory Schema before I install the exchange 2010?

    Exchange 2010 sp1 will have schema changes, you can do it manually using command prompt from using the Exchange 2010 media


    If you are running setup directly from the media, it will extend your schema.

    However it is recommended to extend your schema manually before setup, so that the information is replicated to all your domain controllers and sites

    We too had the similar environment.  We arleady had Exchange 2010 installed, when we installed SP1, we extended the schema again.
