Agents show as not monitord in SCOM 2007

I have several agents that show as not monitored in SCOM. I have tried uninstall the agents and reinstalling the agents and they still show as not monitored. I have logged in to the servers and made sure the service was running for SCOM and the operations manager log looks clean any thoughts?
