is Windows better server for hosting JSP? is it easier? faster? more secure ? than for ex. linux hosting?

    JSP was designed to run Sun (now Oracle) Java on Apache / Tomcat webservers, so the makers would probably say Oracle Solaris or Oracle's implementation of Redhat linux would be best.

    Generally linux is more secure and makes better use (faster on same hardware) of resources than windows, as well as being cheaper.

    Windows may be easier - If you are entirely familiar with Windows and no nothing about linux........
