I created a task list and a view.  The list has a comments field which is set up to append new comments.  In the view the comments are coming up with a link "View Entries". How do I get rid of the link and have it show the comments? I am still on MOSS 3.0

that is the only way you can have the comments appended in list (no code).

My Recommendation is do not use this view and create another view with another Style that does not show the comment.

If you are comfortable working with SharePoint designer you can create a data-view that will do that for you .
