Hi experts

I am developing a website with asp.net 3.5 (vb.net as the code behind) which needs a small amount of data stored, i decided to use an  sqlite database (ADO.NET sqlite provider) to store the data, the problem I have is how to make the database secure, at the moment the database is stored in the App_Data  folder but has no password, does anyone know how to give an sqlite database a password and where and how would I store the connection string (with password) to connect to the database, I don’t really want to go down the route of encrypting the database if I don’t have to, hope somebody can help.

You can not do so in SQLite database.

if you really want security, you might consider using another database or buy the encrypting extension.
