Block ip address in Windows 2008

Hello guys,

I need an IP address (public) to be blocked on every port, except port 80 and 443. Just one specific IP address. How do I do this without affecting the rest of the IPs? (which shouldnt be blocked).

Thanks.

Is the Windows 2008 Server network using this IP address?

I need to close every port when browsed by a specific IP, not the IP address of the server. Imagine your IP address is 200.200.200.200 and you want to scan ports on my IP address, well I need to block your IP for every port except for 80 and 443.

This is the scenario: I have securemetrics.com testing my IP address every day, so I need them to see only port 80 and 443.

Thanks.

Has Powershell sent you back into the Stone Age?

If managing Active Directory using Windows Powershell® is making you feel like you stepped back in time, you are not alone.  For nearly 20 years, AD admins around the world have used one tool for day-to-day AD management: Hyena. Discover why.

I saw that example, but it doesnt say anything about allowing a port and blocking the rest.

You should be able to configure the option to allow certain ports\programs. If you look in the steps it says select All Programs in this area you should be able to customize the allow and deny options
