motherboard internal speaker
hello there...
I ordered this motherboard from tigerdirect and installed it.. but for some reason when I boot up the system
the internal speaker doesnt beep.. also I have a windows app that makes a sound with the internal speaker and its not working

what could it be? also I saw that it came with one of these.. but no idea where I should put it.

The manual that came with the MB should have a section explaining the place for that tiny speaker. In my Asus manual the chapter is named "Internal connectors" and subsection "System panel connector". In there should be an illustration of the pins labelled "Speaker" showing you the correct location to attach the speaker. Also there probably are very small letters on the MB itself saying "SPKR" or "Speaker".
Hmm... looking at the manual behind your link, it looks like that motherboard doesn't have a connector for the internal speaker. Funny they should ship that tiny speaker anyway. Are you sure the MB you received is exactly the model described in that on-line manual?

yes.. I even spent like 10 minutes looking at it.. like trying to figure it out.. connected it in a few locations and nothing..
This review, or user comments, suggests the MB simply doesn't have the connector even when the speaker is shipped with it:

right, is there a way to get some soft of adapter or something to setup the internal speaker
