Emails from a single recipient getting stuck in local delivery queue.

I have started having a crazy problem with emails from the same single external recepient getting stuck in the local delivery queue? If it is addressed to multiple users, some of them receive the email OK when always at least one does not? At first it was always the same user not receiving the email so I thought maybe thier mailbox was corrupt, but now a different user did not receive this recepients emails when the other user did? It's been driving me crazy for about a week now, but like I say it's always from the same recepient only?
