Alienware m18x CF 6970M vs Sager NP7280 SLI 485M

Both of 'em are about the same configuration, except for a few differences:

Memory:

Sager - 12GB 1333mhz

Alienware - 16GB 1600mhz

CPU:

Sager - i7 960 (3.2ghz)

Alienware - i7 2820QM (2.3 ghz or 3.4ghz turbo mode)

Video Card:

Sager - Dual 485M SLI

Alienware - Dual 6970 CrossFireX

SCREEN SIZE:

Sager - 17"

Alienware - 18"

My intent with the laptop is to both play games and use it to work (programming). On the config I gave above both comes up at the same price. I was dead set on Sager, however when m18x was released it got me wondering now.

Which would you guys pick and why?

Hard choice as both are amazing gaming laptops, if I could get the dual 485m's in the Alienware it wouldn't be a hard choice at all(I tend to favor nvidia cards). The alienware is going to have better support and onsite service, Sager's warranty is mail in only. The i7 2820qm(new sandy bridge architecture) is faster than the I7 960 by 900 points in passmark. Video performance between the 2 is about equal the 485m does support 3D, while the 6970's don't, but the 6970's do run cooler and use less power. Ultimately my choice would be the Alienware. It has a better warranty, and looks alot cooler

Also With the Alienware you can get an accidental damage warranty that covers spills drops and electrical surges.

Yeah, I suppose that alienware would be the wiser choice, dell warranty is simply the best.
