Hi , I have problem closing (hiding) a window that has been created with the master/detail form of Netbeans, this.setVisible(false) only hides the contents of the window not the window itself.Could someone please help?

you need somthing like:

window.setVisible(false);

if you can post the relevant code I can  give a more specific answer

Thanks for your help.The thing in this case, is that the wizard did  the coding for me and it was a bit confusing to find what I should setVisible to false.SwingUtitilites did the trick though.
