move shared documents from sharepoint 2003 to 2010

anyone have suggestions on how I can move a document library from sharepoint 2003 to 2010?

    If only document library you want to migrate then use the sharepoint object Model to download the file and upload it SharePoint 2010.

    Else only path to upgrade to 2007 first and then to 2010.

    Just hte document library.  Do you have an example of using the object model?

    Do you need things like versions, meta data, timestamps, original Created By and Modified By? If not, just open each library in Explorer view, select all (except the "Forms" folder), then copy and paste.
